We absolutely loved working with Cinda! Multiple guests went out of their way to mention how impressed they were with her coordination of the wedding. She kept everything flowing with the most graceful and calm manner. She was terrific both on the big day, and in helping us plan ahead of time. We had multiple pre-wedding coordination calls with her, and her opinions and suggestions were incredibly helpful in both creating the wedding that we envisioned, but also maintaining our budget. Cinda was absolutely terrific in all respects, and we cannot imagine what our day would have been like without her.
For one brief story of how she is willing to go above and beyond: we had an outdoor ceremony at Trump Winery (beautiful location!!) that included a chuppah that some of our friends were kind enough to build. The problem was that the chuppah had to be removed from the premises by midnight. Cinda did not hesitate to say she would take care of it. Sure enough, while we were relaxing and enjoying our cocktail hour, Cinda was up on a ladder using power tools to disassemble the chuppah. We only mention this story to emphasize how willing Cinda was to help us in whatever way possible. Although we cannot claim to have many points of comparison, we believe that Cinda is the best wedding coordinator in all of Charlottesville. We highly, highly recommend her.

My husband and I were referred to White Birch Events through the event manager, Patrick, at Trump Winery. I trusted Patrick from early on, so I respected his opinion and referral. I connected with Cinda from the very beginning over the phone. In fact, we ended up chatting for an hour about personal stories and life events during our first conversation. As the months went on, I was able to reach out to Cinda for random questions or to get her opinion. Even though I only hired her for the rehearsal & day-of (if I could go back and had the budget, I would have hired her for my entire wedding planning), she was available to me if I needed her. She made it clear that she has integrity and would never overcharge me and/or tack on surprise expenses. A few weeks leading up to the wedding is when she really took control and met all of my expectations. She outlined in detail our wedding schedule, down to the minute; that alone was a huge help. She also had helpful "extras" available that we rented from Cinda such as table runners and chalk board signs. The wedding weekend arrived and every single thing was taken care of. She kept us on schedule — if it wasn't for her, we definitely would have compromised the timeline. She had an assistant with her as well who was also lovely, professional and there for me if I needed anything. To this day, if anything did go wrong, then I didn't and still don't know about it because she handled it. We felt like royalty on our wedding day and I can't say enough good things about Cinda.

Cinda is someone who knows how to make your wedding dreams become a reality. I have never planned a wedding before (and hopefully won’t again!) and Cinda’s experience and expertise helped us along this journey. She is a great listener and gave us top notch suggestions (without being pushy) from everything to vendors to the smallest elegant details. We worked together to develop the timeline and budget for our big day. I felt like I was always up-to-date and “in the know.” On our wedding day, Cinda was instrumental in making sure everything went seamlessly, which wasn’t an easy task, as she had to coordinate with all of the wedding vendors, the wedding party and the arrival of close to 150 guests by bus over the course of a couple hours. I debated about hiring a Coordinator for my very small wedding, but eventually realized that even small weddings have tons of details that I wasn't prepared to handle. Cinda made wedding planning a breeze! She gave me a list of awesome vendor recommendations that would help match my budget and helped me hash through were to allocate dollars and where to save. Her advice in my rental meeting was invaluable - she knew the wedding venue well and helped me think through every table, linen, etc. Things that I would never have thought of without her help. She made the actual wedding day seamless and it was so nice to relax, soak in the day and know the Cinda had everything under control. She handled little mix ups like the wind blowing away all of my place cards and made sure it didn't effect the evening and everyone knew where their place was with no distruption. We had the pleasure of working with Cinda Hoege and White Birch Events to make my son's rehearsal dinner at Montalto an exceptional evening that none of our guests will soon forget. Cinda started helping me about four months before that magical night. She was so informative, knowing what's available in Charlottesville and helping us to stay on track with our budget. She has a wonderful personality and was always available to answer any questions we might have. She helped me with the rental selections and alternate plans for the weather to put our minds at ease. Cinda is so organized and had the whole night planned down to the minute. She orchestrated the plan for all the vendors getting up to Montalto and setting up the venue which is no easy task. Two days before the event she met us at Michael's to pick up frames, votives and extra vases for the cocktail tables. She also put together a wonderful framed seating assignment chart for us. She spent all day, overseeing the set-up, flowers, caterers, photographers etc for our 6 PM start time and finally left 2 hours after our guests and after all had been cleaned up. Cinda also worked with the AV person to set up a slide show and video that we were playing that night before the toasts. The entire evening ran so smoothly and my husband and I could totally relax and enjoy the party. Cinda was amazing and we could not have done the party without her. She became a good friend of ours as well and we even found that she follows and supports the UVA baseball team which my son had played on many years ago. We highly recommend Cinda and White Birch Events to organize and help with your wedding, rehearsal dinner or any other important event.

White Birch Events and Cinda were absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding. We heard of her through a mutual source and after speaking over the phone, we decided to go with Cinda without having formally met and I couldn't be happier with that gut decision. We were planning a wedding in Charlottesville VA while I was in residency in Chicago and my now husband was in law school in D.C. and I don't think it would have been possible without Cinda's help. I did a decent amount of the planning on my own but Cinda was a great resource and a huge help considering the distance in planning. She was flexible, easy to get a hold of, and able to work off of pictures I sent her with ideas- all of which were vital for our circumstances and weddings. Most importantly, she was easy to work with, worked hard to make our vision come to life, and made the process much more manageable in order for my husband and I to be able to have the wedding for ourselves and our guests that we were hoping.
As the wedding got closer, Cinda was great for the preparations, organization, timelines and made sure for us that every "I" was dotted and "T" was crossed- including many things that I hadn't thought of. And that goes for the day of our wedding as well. Hiccups happened and things were somewhat hectic, but I only learned about that afterwards. Our wedding was absolutely perfect as Cinda and other staff made sure it was so to the best of her ability which took the task off of myself and our family.
